Dilt’s Logical Levels of Thinking for presentations is a free PowerPoint template with a nice pyramid diagram for Logical Levels of Thinking presentations. This pyramid is inspired on the work ofย Dilts & Bateson. They argued that people can think on different levels. The effect of each level is to organize and direct the information on the level below it. Changing something on a higher level would necessarily change things on the lower levels. In the opposite direction, if we change something on a lower level could but would not necessarily affect the upper levels. The level at which a person experiences his problem can be recognized from the way in which he tells his story and asks questions.
If you remain stuck on a certain thinking level a problem may seem completely unsolvable, so this template for PowerPoint can be useful to create presentations on thinking, decision making presentations using PowerPoint as other coaching presentations. You can also use this pyramid created with PowerPoint shapes to make a presentation on change management as well as process management presentations. A coach can raise a personโs thinking level by asking questions and so opening up a new perspective.
